BIOS
Апгрейд ноута HP 2006 года до 802.11n. Известно, что ноутбуки HP имеют белые списки в биосе и отказываются запускаться с нестандартными узлами. Например, попытка заменить устаревший 802.11b/g вайфай на что-то поновее ни к чему не приведет - ноут просто не включится (ибо нефиг).
Наткнулся на статью, как народ копал эту тему патчения БИОСа. А оказалось, что под HP уже все давно пропатчено. Вот cписок с образами БИОСов для разных моделей ноутбуков HP
